Our little Gracie

This entry is devoted to our Our little darling daughter Gracie who turned two this week on the 24th May.
Yes, she is still known as Gracie, rather than Amelia-Grace. She is very much a blessing and joy in our lives. She was a bit of a surprise when we found out I was pregnant with her, and she has continued to surprise us ever since.

She still has her beautiful blue eyes and golden blond wavy hair and probably gets away with a lot because she is the youngest and just a little cutie.

Alysha loves her and watches out for her, mothering her all the time (her real life doll) - Alysha & Gracie share a bedroom and have done so for some time now, which I think makes them close. Hyrum loves his little sister because she is his friend and probably one of the only other people he socialises with at the moment so they play really nicely together, they are always into something together.
Gracie loves and adores Hyrum and Alysha and follows them round and does what they do wherever possible. She doesn’t like to miss out on anything. She also loves to play role playing games, like mums and dads or baby dollys and doggies etc

She is getting a lot more vocal, stringing two to seven words together in ways we can understand and that she can make herself understood. (no bed, i love you, drink of water, more water, I want to play that too, I put the nappy on my baby, no bed i go down stairs and so many more.) Sometimes she forgets that she can talk and starts baby babbling again and I remind her she can use her words then she starts talking again. (very funny)
She also just loves to sing, sometimes all day, its very cute

Gracie is cheeky and has an infectious smile, bubbly and affectionate personality, and just loves to laugh and give big hugs and kisses lots of kisses.

She is still having a morning sleep, which I really enjoy that time to get things done. I’m sure it wont be long until she stops this as Alysha stopped napping at 2 ½ yrs and Hyrum 18 months, but we will both enjoy it for now.

As for Gracie Health she still has problems with her chronic constipation but we seem to be managing it a lot getter now by keeping her on a natural high fibre diet, She also is still having problem with her eczma - it seems to have become a lot worst since moving to Perth, we still keep her on Soy milk, but we think we will try cutting out all tomatoes things and see if that helps, as her eczma on her face is very painful for her at times. poor little thing.
We notice new things about Gracie everyday, just lately she is becoming very arty and loves to colour and use stickers. She is also very independent and wants to do and try everything herself, and if she really wants something and cant have it she has been known to through the odd tantrum, but that doesn’t happen that often so that good.

We just love our Gracie-macie to bits and it is a wonderful blessing to be her parents, and she is such a big part of our family.

Happy Birthday to our darling little Gracie, you have entered into the terrific 2's and can't wait for many more years to come. You make us so happy and we love u so much!!!!!
